CreaCycle GmbH offers special CreaSolv® Formulations for dissolving and recycling of plastics, preferably based on solvents, which
The CreaSolv® Process offers a new technology in plastic recycling through “Selective Extraction” for different polymers and produces recycled polymers of very high purity. The "Hansen-Theory" is utilized for the calculation of solubility envelopes for selected polymers or plastics, aimed at tailoring CreaSolv® Solvent formulations for specific plastics.
CreaCyle GmbH uses the "Vapor Hazard Ratio" to preferably select solvents with a low hazard potential for CreaSolv® Formulations, if technically feasable. The vapor hazard ratio is described and recommended in the German Technical Rule TRGS 420 as "Gefährdungszahl Gz". This ratio can also be found in the On 11 Occtober 2000 the German Federal Ministry for Work and Social Affairs presented Dr. Gerald G. Altnau, associate of CreaCycle GmbH, with a certificate for his achievements in introducing safer solvents to the chemical industry and providing support with the Vapor Hazard Ratio Concept to companies wishing to switch away from dangerous solvent formulations. |
